About the CFCA Foundation Scholarships for the Volunteer and Combo Fire Chiefs Association
The Cal Fire Chiefs Foundation is offering three scholarships for Combination and Volunteer Fire Chiefs within the California Fire Chiefs Association (CFCA). The scholarships
are for attendance at the CFCA Annual Conference in Anaheim, California, on October 28 - 30, 2025. This will include one Chief from each of California's regions: North,
Central, and Southern.
Each scholarship includes:
- Free registration to the CFCA Annual Conference
- Two nights of lodging at the host hotel
- $700 stipend to assist with incidental expenses such as meals and travel

Eligibility
Open to Combination and Volunteer Fire Chiefs who are members of the CFCA.
Application Process
Please complete the enclosed application and submit it to CFCA Executive Director, Chief Meston at JeffMeston@Calchiefs.org no later than August 31, 2025.
Selection Process
Applications will be reviewed by Volunteer and Combination Chief Jeff Gilbert, and the final selection will be made by the CFCA Presidents Council.
Preference
Preference will be given to CFCA members who have not attended a CFCA Conference in the past.
Note: The Cal Chiefs Foundation reserves the right to fill all three positions if no Chiefs from a specific geographic location apply.
