Join the Newly Formed CFCA Fire Marshal Section!

Dear Fire Chiefs and Fire Marshals,

The California Fire Chiefs Association (CalChiefs) is currently recruiting Fire Marshals and Deputy Fire Marshals for the new CFCA Fire Marshal Section. CalChiefs is committed to ensuring representation from our California State Fire Marshals.

We have established the Fire Marshal Section North and South to fill the critical roles previously served by the FPO section, including appointments to many state roles and our joint legislative task force shared with Fire Districts. We will utilize the Fire Marshal Section to provide Subject Matter Experts beginning in our 2024/25 legislative session.

The draft bylaws for our new section can be found HERE, and the initial due’s structure is set at $100 per member. We are seeking California Fire Jurisdiction Fire Marshals and Deputy Fire Marshals to become members. Once our initial membership drive has concluded, we will gather members in both the North and South to hold elections and determine officers for the sections as well as finalize the bylaws.
