2026. Important Reminder for Fire
Chiefs
–
Section MembershipsIf
you are purchasing section memberships for your team (e.g.,
EMS,
Ops,
Training Officers, etc.), please make sure to complete the
second
step:
assigning each section membership to the correct
individual(s)
within
your
department. To
do so, please email a list of section members’ names and
email
addresses
to
calchiefs@calchiefs.org
to ensure proper setup and access.

If the individual already has a profile in
the
system,
we
will
update
their account accordingly.

If the individual does not have a profile,
you
must
send
them
the
Sub-Account Direct Link found in your
organization’s
profile
so
they
can
create
one.

After renewing or creating your account, please follow
the
steps outlined in the 'Sub-account 101' flyer to
initiate
the
creation
of
profiles for the individuals in your organization for
whom
you
have
purchased
accounts. Not
sure whether
to
select
North or South for your membership? Refer to
[this
map] to determine your correct region when prompted
during
the
membership process. Membership Dues Structure:
Volunteer Fire Districts may be eligible for free CFCA membership through the BAER Safer Grant. Find

Updates:We’ve
updated our dues
structure to provide more value and simplify the renewal
process.
Highlights
include: - Agencies
can
now
renew all CFCA section memberships on a
single
invoice,
including
CalChiefs dues.
- Fire
Chiefs
can
designate non-voting memberships for their
command
staff
(Assistant
Chief,
Deputy Chief, Battalion Chief, Fire Marshal,
or
equivalent)
at
no
extra
cost.
- These
changes
are
designed to help maximize benefits and
participation
across
your
entire
leadership
