Chief Ronny J. Coleman Fire Chief of the Year Award

Each year, the California Fire Chiefs Association honors an exceptional leader with the Ronny J. Coleman Fire Chief of the Year Award. This prestigious recognition reflects Chief Coleman’s legacy of innovation, service, and dedication to advancing the fire profession.

Nominations for the 2025 award are now open through September 30, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. Current CFCA member Fire Chiefs are eligible, with recipients recognized during the Annual Conference in Anaheim on October 28.
