The California Fire Service Leadership Alliance

Did you know that the California Fire Service Leadership Alliance was formed out of the original DRiSC (Disaster Readiness for Safer Communities) coalition which successfully lobbied the Governor to provide OES with funding for the Pre-positioning program? This program also included the OES pilot testing of FIRIS (Fire Integrated Real Time Intelligence System) program. The Alliance consists of the President or Chairperson from each of the following California Fire Chief organizations, California Fire Chiefs Association, Fire Districts Association of California, California Tribal Fire Chiefs Association, Volunteer and Combination Fire Chiefs, Metro Fire Chiefs, Contract County Fire Chiefs, and the League of Cities Fire Department Chiefs.

This group works closely with both Cal OES Fire and Rescue and Cal Fire to ensure that the voice of local government fire is heard throughout California.
