Chief Brian Fallon CFCA Area 1 – South Director

Chief Brian Fallon grew up in Riverside California and attended Mount San Antonio college for paramedic school in 2002. He worked for AMR Riverside from 1999-2005 and attended Ben Clark Training Center for the Firefighter 1 academy in 2004. Shortly after, he began a volunteer position with CalFire in Perris California, at station 59. Chief Fallon credits having some of the best mentors that a young firefighter could have which set the trajectory for his career. 

In 2005 Chief Fallon was hired by the City of Rancho Cucamonga and worked through the ranks from firefighter/paramedic to Captain. While at the City of Rancho Cucamonga the majority of his time was spent as a company officer of nearly 10 years. The department truly set the standard for caring for those we serve both internally and externally. During this time, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Fire Science Administration from Waldorf University. Attributing much of his professional success to the relationships formed within the Rancho Cucamonga Fire protection District.

In October of 2021, Chief Fallon accepted a Battalion Chiefs position with the City of Victorville. In May of 2022 he was given the opportunity to serve as the city’s fire chief. In December of 2022, he accepted a position with the City of Lompoc as the Fire Chief. Chief Fallon and his wife have shared the dream of living on the central coast for years and were blessed to have the opportunity. He then began his tenure as Fire Chief with the City of Lompoc in January of 2023. The relationships he formed within the department, and within the Santa Barbara County Chiefs Association are nothing less than superb. There is a sincere desire to collaborate as one team, ensuring that all departments in the region are advancing as one team. In July of 2023, he was given the opportunity to serve as the CalChiefs Area 1 South Director, serving the Tri-Counties.
