Curious what others charge for APOD or Lift Assist fees, subscription fees, BLS/ALS transports, and other Cost Recovery programs? Does your department have medics pulled onto private ambulance transports? Is your agency adequately reimbursed for supplies
used on private ambulance transports? Do you have an innovative EMS related fee/cost recovery program? Please complete the 16-question survey (mainly checkboxes) and aggregate survey results with these answers and more will be shared with the
EMS Sections.
Thank you for your time, the information shared in these surveys helps answer questions from Fire Based EMS departments across the state. Eventually the aggregate results from all these surveys will be posted on the Cal Chiefs and/or EMS Section
websites for future reference by members. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/EMS-Fees-Cost-Recovery-G5H75QR
Transport agencies: Below is a link to GEMT/CMS cost reporting webinar by PCG. Including fire personnel costs in cost reports (who did not transport) is one of the discussion points.
About Public Consulting Group experts will cover the current state of the GEMT landscape, the current guidance from CMS on GEMT programs, and what the future of supplemental payments may look like.
Take-Aways:
- Understand what an ASPP is and what it can mean for you as a provider.
- Have the information necessary to protect yourself from audit risks.
- How to provide support for these programs in your state.
