EMSA’s ePOLST Registry Project Needs Your Help!

Recently AB 133 was passed which stated EMSA needed to establish a statewide electronic registry that houses the POLST form. The idea behind this registry is that EMS providers (as well as many others) can pull down this form at any time and honor end-of-life wishes for patients. With that lens, the ePOLST Registry Project is seeking one paramedic or EMT who is familiar with the California POLST form and its use, and who is interested in participating in an end-user workgroup to help ensure the ePOLST Registry solution meets the needs of EMS and medical providers and the patients they serve.

If you are interested in volunteering, please email letter of interest and bios to CFCA Executive Director Jeff Meston at jeff.meston@calchiefs.org, no later than August 31st. Participants will be expected to sign confidentiality and conflict of interest forms and commit to approximately five hours a week over one to two months later this year.
