Ambulance Strike Team Leader Course Description – ASTL 2.0
This course prepares students by providing the knowledge and leadership skills required to function as an Ambulance Strike Team Leader (ASTL). Students will learn how to lead an Ambulance Strike Team (AST) or Medical Task Force (MTF) during operational deployments.
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be prepared to begin the ASTL credentialing process with their Local EMS Agency (LEMSA) and EMSA. Graduates will also be eligible to deploy as an ASTL Trainee on deployments or training events under the supervision of an accredited ASTL.
